February Glossybox review…

What a delight this month’s Glossybox is.  Sometimes with beauty boxes you have a month where you think “Meh” and consider unsubscribing from them.  I love everything in this box.

Jeanne Arthes L’Eau de Rose is a full size Eau du parfum spray.  It is a subtle rose scent and I really love it.  A very feminine fragrance, and not too overpowering.  I have not heard of Jeanne Arthes before so it is always good to try something completely new.  I will definitely be checking out more from this brand.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Strength Restorer Balm is only a sample size, which I will probably keep for a trip or holiday away.  I haven’t tried anything from this range of Garnier hair products, so I am happy to give it a go.

Ciaté nail polishes are already a favourite of mine, and the full size polish in Fade to Greige is a great all year round shade.

When I first opened the box, I thought the next item was another nail polish.  On further inspection I saw that the Beat the Blues in Oyster Gold from MeMeMe, was in fact, a highlighter/illuminator.  This is gorgeous and can be used as a highlighter on cheekbones or along the brow bone.  Alternatively, you can use it mixed with foundation for a glowing skin.

Another new brand for me is the la Theorie des Volcans, Paris.  This is a face mask containing mineral-rich volcanic paste to cleanse and purify the skin.  Once applied, the pink mask turns to grey as it dries.  It is paraben and silicone free, and is suitable for vegans.  This looks very interesting and I can’t wait to try it.

This Glossybox is love themed for Valentines Day, so I hope you all have a great February 14th, whether or not you celebrate this romantic day.

Peace and love guys, peace and love.
