This month’s Glossybox is all about Spring. Hmmm! did somebody forget to tell the Glossybox team, that Spring will be delayed this year until further notice!!
MUDMASKY – SLEEP REPAIR RENEWAL NOURISHING MASK
This is an overnight mask from the Dutch company Mudmasky. It contains Rose Water to help induce sleep and fresh, natural ingredients to hydrate and nourish the skin. The make their facemarks fresh on the first Tuesday of every month, and no facemask is older than 3 months when leaving the factory.
LA THEORIE DES VOLCANS – PURIFYING YOUTH POTION – MASK SCRUB
This is a facial scrub that contains volcanic sand and is manufactured in France. I need to do a bit more research on this product as some of the ingredients I would like to know more about. Slightly concerned that they use Polymethyl Methacrylate which is also known as a plastic glass. Not sure why this is present in this product.
FIGS AND ROUGE – SOFT FOCUS PORE PERFECT HD+
This is a matte primer that claims to minimise pores and create a shear complexion prior to the application of foundation. We will see. I have tried this on the back of my hand and it is indeed matte and does not feel at all like silicone or slippery.
ORYZA BEAUTY – WARM NUDE LIPSTICK
This is quite a pale nude lipstick, a little too pale for me. It is a semi-matte lipstick with a satin finish. It does feel comfortable on the lips, but not the colour for me, unfortunately.
MEG COSMETICS – GOOD MORNING AM MASK
This is a sheet mask, designed for the mornings to give the skin a fresh start to the day. It contains Peppermint Leaf Water to purify and sooth stressed skin. Sound great, and I am looking forward to trying this one.
I am thinking of trying another beautybox instead of Glossybox. If anybody has any recommendations, I would love to hear them.

I recently cancelled Glossybox as i has so much ‘stuff’ waiting to be used up. I have also tried Birchbox – I was very disappointed and the best bit about it was the box. Also tried Cohorted, which at £35 was not as good value as Glossybox (imo), but maybe I was just unlucky with the 3 boxes I had. I think it is the luck of the draw as i have had some really disappointing Glossyboxes but over the 2 years I had them they evened out with the good ones. Maybe if i had stuck to Birchbox they may have had a good box once in a while too, but Cohorted was proving too expensive to carry on and wait.
Yes I’ve had Birchbox before. Not tried Cohorted. Need to have a scout around xx
